The NewsSpotta (formerly ‘Window on the World’) is a joint initiative of Naphtali Associates and 4WardEver Campaign UK.

Naphtali & Associates evolved as a response to the difficulties experienced by the less advantaged individuals and agencies seeking to develop and sustain their ideas and services. Helping to create employment, and affordable services by and for local people.
A spokesperson said; “We are an informal group of people based in Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Huddersfield UK, all with extensive experience in the voluntary and statutory sectors, providing a range of development support, information and signposting services to voluntary, community, faith and statutory sector organisations working for social equality & justice.
“Our aim is to ensure that smaller less resourced voluntary, community, faith groups, individuals and community enterprises in particular can have access to an independent and efficient source of support, advice & information which compliments many of the existing umbrella agencies in the sector as a whole.
We also provide training and consultancy to statutory sector agencies. We are primarily Birmingham-based but undertake work across the United Kingdom.”

4WardEver Campaign UK
4WardEver maintains its website and other services to provide support to affected families, profiles, news, event details, resources and useful information, appeals, and photo galleries in relation to deaths in custody and other injustices.
A spokesperson said; “The 4WardEver website was developed and launched in 2005 by Mikey’s cousin, Tippa Naphtali. It has grown considerably and now has more than 1,800 visitors a week from around the world.
“We support work for police, penal and mental health reforms in the UK and internationally. This is done through our website, other on-line resources, the organisation of and participation in events for justice, and direct support of families through our various services and resources.
“4WardEver is dedicated to the memory of Mikey Powell, and continues to work with Mikey’s and other families and campaign groups across the country and abroad in giving exposure to issues and causes.”
